Description
The Krill Co., Inc. is hiring for the position of Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager in Construction.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, accountable, and a effective communicator and team player.
A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is required, and applicants should be located in or willing to commute to Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
Assist in manage construction projects from conception to completion.
Evaluate projects thoroughly to estimate costs and schedule deliverables.
Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project superintendent and subcontractors.
Develop detailed schedules and project supplemental instructions.
Prepare internal/external job status reports.
Manage expectations and be accountable personally and professionally.
Provide complete project management, including submittals, requests for information, proposals, meeting minutes, agendas, and correspondence.
Requirements:
1- 2 years of Construction related Internships or Construction job experience.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of building techniques, regulations, and quality standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
Familiarity/Willingness to learn with construction management software (Autodesk/Plangrid, Primavera P-6).
Project management and leadership skills.
Ability to learn in a hands-on environment.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
