Job Title: Construction Project EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to manage large-scale datacenter construction projects. This role involves developing detailed project plans and continuously improving processes to ensure efficiency. The ideal candidate will work remotely, preferably from PST or CST time zones, and engage with clients to ensure project outcomes meet expectations. Responsibilities + Develop and oversee continuous improvement of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements. + Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. + Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations. + Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. + Proactively manage multiple project schedules simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time. + Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders. + Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency. + Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. + Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications. + Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays. + Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization. + Observe worker using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards. + Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Essential Skills + Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. + Team player and detail-oriented. + Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics, and computer-generated reports. + Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field. + 10+ years of experience in planning/scheduling utilizing scheduling software (P6 and MS Project). + senior-level experience in design and construction project management. + Experience in planning medium-sized capital projects ($50MM - $200MM+) in construction, oil, gas, or chemicals (or related process industry). Work Environment This is a fully remote position requiring 40 hours of work per week, ideally suited for candidates in PST or CST time zones. Necessary equipment includes a monitor, docking station, keyboard, headset, and mouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $97.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
