Description
• Lead the most complex and higher value construction projects.
• Deep dive into details when the team is struggling, sharing your experience to solve the problem while also coaching and developing the team so they can do it in the future.
• Lead multiple project teams ensuring no slippage of work schedules and budgets to deliver the targeted profit.
• Work closely with senior executives for management of the department and teams.
• 100% understand the contracts and how to manage all projects with the contracts.
• 100% own the client/developer relationship to optimize the project while balancing contract fiduciary duties to correctly protect for company profits and deliver the project.
• Must have high ability to catch mistakes or misses by the team, conduct deep dive research to know the issues, develop a solution that is aligned with the contract and potential legal outcomes, and then to delegate the actions for solving it while also ensuring accountability of all parties working the solutions.
• Must be able to consistently deliver profitable projects while not letting errors go unchecked while also concurrently developing staff to grow and stay ahead of those issues.
• Must be able to professionally work upstream with Estimating, providing inputs and at times doing portions of the Estimate to help the capacity of the company and landing work.
• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of municipal water and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and water infrastructure projects, in compliance with public-sector contract requirements (AIA / EJCDC-based agreements) and accountable for full project delivery from notice to proceed through final acceptance and closeout.
• Must have high proficiency in end-to-end schedule writing and project planning.
• Manage procurement and early buyout, aligning long-lead equipment, materials, and subcontractors with schedule, funding constraints, and contract requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
• Own complete project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, requisitions, change orders, and cost control, ensuring compliance with municipal contract terms and achievement of margin targets.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual, technical, and design requirements, including drawings, specifications, permits, and regulatory approvals.

Profile
A successful Project Executive should have:
• Bachelor's degree or work equivalent with demonstrated proficiency in software applications, construction processes, math requirements, etc.
• Must have good math skills: such as basic algebra, construction partial geometry and trigonometry, and standard practical math for fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Proven leadership examples.
• Proven skill in developing subordinate staff.
• High proficiency in end-to-end schedule writing and project planning.
• Drafting familiarity.
• High proficiency with computers.
• Proficient with Procore.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project Scheduling or Primavera 6.
• High proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel.
• High proficiency with typing and writing skills.
• High-level of people skills: to manage clients, work with leadership, partner with superintendents, and drive foremen and work crews.
• Basic skills for machinery utilization.
• OSHA and safety certifications for construction.
• Driver's license with a clean record is required.
