Job Summary:
As the Construction Project Lead, you will support Construction Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of projects by maintaining budgets, schedules, workflows, and project requirements. You will coordinate with vendors, site inspectors, Foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects remain aligned with established timelines, budgets, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, technical proficiency, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
· Support Construction Project Managers in maintaining project scope, schedules, budgets, workflows, and overall project requirements.
· Coordinate meetings and communication with vendors, site inspectors, Foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholders to maintain project alignment and progress.
· Assign project tasks, monitor completion, communicate schedule changes, and coordinate resources to support timely project delivery.
· Maintain project budgets, schedules, databases, reports, and documentation while providing Project Managers with regular updates on progress, risks, and potential issues.
· Monitor compliance, quality control, and quality assurance requirements to ensure projects meet company, customer, and applicable standards.
· Collect, monitor, and analyze operational and financial data and prepare project reports, budgets, plans, status updates, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
· Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs
Required Qualifications:
Education, Licensing, and Certifications
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
· Experience supporting construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, or project administration.
· Experience in telecommunications engineering, construction, or utility infrastructure is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
· Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing schedules and workflow requirements.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and PDF editing tools.
· Ability to learn and effectively use project management systems, databases, and other technology platforms.
· Ability to maintain professionalism and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Experience in telecommunications construction management or utility infrastructure projects.
· Familiarity with GIS systems, project lifecycle reporting, compliance management, and stakeholder coordination.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
· Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and work in office or field environments for extended periods.
· Ability to work outdoors and in active construction environments as needed.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
