Construction Project Manager 5 | Northern, VA
Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Construction Project Manager 5 to join their team. You will be part of the Lease Construction Management team supporting internal infrastructure, IT, security, and lease provider stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Northern, VA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $80.18 - $86.35/hr
What’s the Job?
- Support Lease Construction Managers (LCM) in tracking project milestones, RFS dates, and early access requirements.
- Conduct weekly onsite visits to assess construction progress and ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Coordinate core & shell construction activities, including MEP systems, structural trades, permitting, and contractor compliance.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, action trackers, and progress reports while monitoring risks and delays.
- Collaborate with internal infrastructure, IT, security teams, and external lease providers to support project execution and operational readiness.
✅What’s Needed?
- 8-12+ years of experience in commercial construction project management with strong core & shell experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of MEP systems, structural trades, excavation, foundation work, permitting, and construction sequencing.
- Infrastructure and IT project coordination experience within large-scale construction environments.
- Minimum of 18 months of continuous employment with a single employer and prior US-based construction experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
