Our client in the Anchorage, AK location is currently hiring a Construction Project Manager (Owner's Rep) to support vertical building construction projects across Alaska. This opportunity supports an Anchorage-based project team delivering technically complex projects, with a strong focus on healthcare and institutional facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction project manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is interested in growing into leadership within a unique and technically challenging construction market.

Pay: $101,000 - $120,000 annually

Location: Anchorage, AK

Onsite in Anchorage is highly preferred - Candidates based in Seattle, WA may be considered if they have 5+ years of Alaska project experience; periodic travel to Alaska is required for non-Anchorage-based candidates

Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of vertical construction projects from planning through closeout
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations
  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for assigned projects
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Review contractor progress, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and change orders
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Support sr. leadership with client communication and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with a project management team of approximately 20 professionals in the Anchorage office
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations

Qualification Requirements

  • 4-8+ years of construction project management experience
  • Strong experience supporting vertical construction projects such as commercial, institutional, or healthcare projects in the $1M-$5M range
  • Project experience in Alaska is required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budgets
  • Experience working as an Owner's Representative or Construction Manager
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Disqualifiers

  • No Alaska project experience
  • No vertical building construction experience
  • Less than 4 years of construction project management experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $101000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
