Step into a rewarding opportunity with a mission-driven commercial general contractor in the Charlotte, NC area, known for delivering complex institutional and public-sector projects while prioritizing employees being home nightly. In this Construction Project Manager opportunity, you’ll oversee planning, financial management, and successful execution of commercial and institutional construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Manage K-12, higher education, municipal, or other institutional/public-sector construction projects.
- Deliver projects valued at $30M or more.
- Experience with heavy construction involving concrete, masonry, and structural steel.
- Manage all phases of assigned projects from startup through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; prepare and manage owner pay applications.
- Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements; manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
- Monitor schedules, identify and mitigate risks, lead owner/architect/subcontractor meetings, and coordinate closeout, owner training, attic stock, and warranty requirements.
Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
