We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the modernization of utilities in the area.
Will be involved in the project from bid to completion. Budget, scheduling experience needed.
o Position-Specific Knowledge & Experience
o Principles and practices used in the planning, design and relocation of utilities facilities.
o Contract administration principles and practices.
o Principles and practices of program development and administration.o Pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations, including public contract
law.
o Civil, structural, electrical, traffic, geotechnical, and mechanical engineering principles
and practices.
o Estimating principles and practices.
o Principles of supervision, training and performance management.
o Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and managing a project team.
o Proven ability to prepare and administer program budgets, and prepare cost estimates,
and concise and accurate administrative and financial reports.
o Ability to effectively interpret and apply applicable federal, state and local policies, laws
and regulations.
o Able to prepare and review the preparation of plans and specifications.
o Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing MS Office applications
A Bachelor"s degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work in
mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, construction
technology or a related field; AND, a minimum of ten (10) years of responsible, related
to the area of construction management, including two (2) years of project
management, administrative and/or supervisory responsibility; OR
o Ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in the area of construction?five
(5) of which must be in construction management, including two (2) years of project
management, administrative and/or supervisory responsibility.
