Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Fort Mitchell, KY

Paul Hemmer Company is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to manage multiple projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for a self-motivated PM who can take ownership, work independently, and successfully manage a variety of commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously
• Oversee projects generally ranging from $2M to $30M
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, documentation, and overall project performance
• Develop, maintain, and adjust construction schedules throughout the project
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, engineers, and field teams
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout
• Monitor project costs, margins, schedule, quality, and overall financial performance
• Partner closely with the project superintendent to resolve field issues and keep work moving
• Visit active jobsites regularly and maintain strong communication with project teams
• Support preconstruction efforts as needed, including preliminary schedules, subcontractor input, and larger project pursuits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• 2–3+ years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor preferred
• Ground-up commercial construction and site work experience
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects
• Strong scheduling, financial, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam experience preferred
• Design-build experience is a plus
