Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring successful execution at every stage
- Oversee project budgets, subcontractor buyout, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to meet key milestones
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project reporting
- Collaborate closely with field leadership to support jobsite safety, quality, logistics, and overall project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants by leading OAC meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch list management, commissioning coordination, and turnover documentation
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, renovations, occupied facilities, or campus environments
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and contract administration
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Experience coordinating complex project scopes, including MEP/FP systems and phased construction
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar industry platforms
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
