Construction Project Manager - Commercial and Petroleum Construction - Base Salary to 160k/year - Longview, WA

• Our client is a well-established national design-build general contractor specializing in commercial construction, petroleum construction, convenience stores, fuel stations, gas stations, car washes, and related retail facilities. They are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is ideal for candidates with experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects, particularly fuel stations, convenience stores, or car wash developments. Position requires approximately 50% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations and progress of commercial construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage ground-up commercial, petroleum, fuel station, convenience store, retail, and car wash construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and plans to prepare cost, labor, and material estimates.
• Coordinate project development activities from estimating through construction execution.
• Develop project schedules, manpower requirements, equipment needs, and project budgets.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, owners, and design professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate pricing packages with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, designers, and owners.
• Review project estimates and budgets prior to submission.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, financial performance, and profitability.
• Participate in project planning, development, estimating, and construction strategy.
• Support project-related client meetings and sales activities as needed.
• Maintain project documentation, contracts, schedules, and technical records.
• Operate company vehicles as required while complying with company driving requirements.
• Travel approximately 50% to project sites throughout the United States.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of successful Construction Project Management experience within commercial construction, petroleum construction, fuel station construction, convenience store construction, retail construction, car wash construction, or related general contracting environment.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, project estimates, budgets, labor costs, and material costs.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 50% to project sites throughout the United States.
  

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 140k - 160k/year range
