Reporting to the Director of Construction, this role is responsible for managing projects from initial planning through final completion and client move-in.You will oversee budget, schedule, quality, and coordination across teams, working closely with superintendents, subcontractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure every project meets Stellar's high standards.This position requires someone who can balance big-picture strategy with detailed execution while leading teams with professionalism and accountability.What You'll DoKey responsibilities include:Manage all phases of construction projects including budget, schedule, quality, and personnelLead pre-construction planning meetings with superintendents and project teamsNegotiate and administer subcontracts and material purchase ordersMaintain and communicate project budgets and financial forecastsCoordinate closely with superintendents to maintain projects on time and in budgetDevelop and manage project schedules and critical path milestonesManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationConduct site visits and quality inspectionsMaintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and municipalitiesEnsure accurate and organized project recordkeepingProvide weekly project status updates to leadershipWork with property teams to coordinate renovation scopes and schedulesLead problem resolution and maintain a collaborative, win-win project environmentWhat We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates will bring:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related fieldMinimum 2+ years of construction management experienceStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong systems mindset and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with Procore and Microsoft Project is a plusA commitment to professionalism, accountability, and team successThe Kind of Leader Who Thrives HereYou're someone who:Takes ownership of your projectsCommunicates clearly and proactivelySolves problems quickly and fairlyLeads with professionalism and respectBalances detail and big-picture thinkingBuilds strong relationships with teams and partnersPhysical RequirementsThis role involves both office and field work, including:Walking job sites and climbing stairsOccasional bending, stooping, pushing, and liftingReading plans and documentationFrequent communication in person and by phoneWhy Join Stellar?At Stellar, you won't just manage projects - you'll help build communities and develop people.You'll work with a team that values excellence, integrity, and growth, while contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact.If you're ready to take ownership of projects and help us deliver Always Stellar results, we want to hear from you.
