Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Danville, PA, United States
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

  • Lead the buy-out process of subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring proper tracking and procurement efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress billings to the Owner, monitor responses, and ensure timely payments to maintain project cash flow.
  • Expedite all submittals to prevent project delays and ensure compliance with project schedules.
  • Collect and track potential cost changes, report findings to the Operations Manager to maintain accurate project cost data.
  • Assist project engineers, superintendents, and other team members with field operations as needed.
  • Coordinate with safety personnel to ensure compliance and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper and timely project closeout, including submission of all close-out documents and warranties.
  • Represent the company professionally both internally and externally, maintaining strong communication with clients and vendors.
  • Manage projects from start to final completion, demonstrating thorough knowledge of Sheet Metal, HVAC, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of construction experience preferred, with a background in Sheet Metal, HVAC, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant systems and construction processes required.
  • Degree in construction management or related field is a plus; Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with a sense of priority and urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Effective project management skills from initiation to completion.
