Construction Project Manager (Data Center – Early Works)

Our client, a leading global technology and cloud infrastructure company, is seeking a Early Works Project Lead (Construction Project Manager / Project Safety Advisor) to join their team. As an Early Works Project Lead, you will be part of the Land Development Construction team supporting cross-functional stakeholders including Design, Construction, Operations, and Environmental teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Project Manager (Data Center – Early Works)(1-year contract, will extend 18 months )
Location: Boydton, VA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $84.84 – $91.48 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Oversee onsite construction management and early works delivery for datacenter development projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance while tracking key milestones.
• Coordinate contractors, environmental consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and high-risk activity compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

What’s Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management and environmental compliance.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working onsite with construction activities and ability to manage high-risk environments.
