Construction Project Manager - Electrical
Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000/year (DOE) + Annual Profitability Bonus
Location: Cleveland, OH

How you'll spend your time as a Construction Project Manager - Electrical:
- 50/50 split between estimating and field project management.
- Partner with estimator on initial customer contact, then own the project.
- Purchase materials and manage job budgets.
- Maintain customer relationships throughout project lifecycle.
- Ensure field electricians have all information and resources they need.
- Create proposals and design-build documentation (often no drawings provided).
- Track labor and manage change orders.
- Work on diverse projects – from small wires to 23,000-volt substations.
- Handle fire alarm, tele data, and low-voltage work as needed.
- Collaborate with 20 electrical field techs, 20 technology techs, and 15 office staff.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Construction Project Manager - Electrical:
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code.
- 5+ years of electrical project management experience.
- Comfortable working directly with customers – building managers, owners, universities, hospitals.
- Design-build experience – able to put together projects without existing drawings.
- Proficiency with Accubid, Excel, and Word (Accubid experience is a plus).
- Local Cleveland market knowledge – distributors, hospitals, universities, GCs, and how to navigate the area.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial projects (60/40 mix).
- Comfortable with projects under $2M (most under $500K).
- Bonus skills: Controls, instrumentation, medium voltage, fire alarm, tele data.
