This person will manage projects from preconstruction to close, and have access to projects as large as $70M.
Overview
- Location: Janesville, WI
- Projects: Hospital, Public works, heavy industrial, private commercial
- Headcount: 20 people
- Self perform: Carpentry, all other work is CM
- Backlog: $50M in current work, $150M in active bid stage
Description
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects from planning through completion
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Oversee quality control and compliance with safety standards
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly
Profile
- Minimum of three years as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer in commercial construction
- Bachelors in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture strongly preferred
- Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and motivating project teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in preconstruction and estimating preferred
- Procore knowledge preferred
- OSHA certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and compliance, prioritizing the well-being of the project team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines

- Base salary up to $125,000 (Based upon experience level)
