Will manage two projects, in two locations: Cole City, Illinois and Moraine, Ohio. A third possibly in Guilderland NY.
So I would expect the Construction Manager to travel the entire time.
What will the resource be able to expense We would set up Per Diems for travel, lodging, & Meals & Incidentals. If they need to purchase anything for the project, they would expense it back to Airgas

Responsibilities:
Represent business unit interests in the development and execution of capital investment projects valued up to $200M.
Collaborate with project and business development teams to identify, budget, and structure project solutions that maximize the competitiveness of commercial offerings.
Plan project execution in alignment with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and  internal procedures.
Lead a multinational project execution team comprising representatives across multiple business entities.
Participate in engineering review meetings at international locations (e.g., China, UAE, Germany, France).
Create, maintain, and actively manage a comprehensive project risk register to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Participate in the negotiation and execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.
Establish progress tracking and reporting systems using key metrics and dashboards to communicate project status to executive management.
Establish baseline project schedules and continuously monitor progress against target milestones.
Partner with regulatory agencies and authorities to secure necessary permits and licenses.
Lead the project team in developing discipline-specific subcontract packages (piling, civil, mechanical, and E&I), facilitate contractor pre-bid and clarification meetings, and direct contractor selection.
Negotiate construction contracts in coordination with the subcontracting department and  legal counsel.
Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure strict contract compliance, proper construction techniques, and adherence to quality standards.
Drive a collaborative team culture across operations, engineering, construction, and project delivery groups.
Prepare internal and external monthly project progress reports.
Evaluate, negotiate, and execute construction subcontract change orders.
Champion safety performance across all project phases, with a primary focus on construction site execution.

Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university.
Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) preferred.
