Job Details

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering healthcare projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements, infection control protocols, regulatory compliance, and working within occupied medical facilities.
Responsibilities

Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and staffing strategies.
Lead coordination efforts among owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.
Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, change management, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, life safety requirements, and infection control standards.
Coordinate construction activities within occupied healthcare environments.
Manage permitting, inspections, commissioning, and turnover processes.
Lead OAC meetings and provide regular updates to ownership and executive leadership.
Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and project milestones are achieved.
Mentor project engineers and assistant project managers.

Qualifications

5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
Healthcare construction experience required.
Proven success managing hospital, medical office, clinic, laboratory, or healthcare facility projects.
Strong understanding of ICRA, OSHPD/HCAI (if applicable), JCAHO, NFPA, and healthcare compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project schedules.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or related software.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Experience managing projects ranging from $5M-$100M+.
Healthcare-specific project portfolio within active medical facilities.
