This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

A successful Construction Project Manager | Manhattan, NY:

    • Manage multiple commercial interiors projects from preconstruction through final turnover.
    • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
    • Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and change orders.
    • Monitor project financial performance, including cost forecasting, billing, and budget control.
    • Collaborate with field Superintendents to ensure projects are executed according to schedule and quality expectations.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues.
    • Manage project closeout, punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory safety standards.

Profile

A successful Construction Project Manager | Manhattan, NY:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial interiors, office fit-outs, or tenant improvement construction.
    • Proven track record delivering commercial projects ranging from $2M-$25M+.
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
    • Experience managing projects in occupied buildings and Class A office environments.
    • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage project profitability.
    • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
