Pay based on experience | First shift

In this fast-paced, high-energy environment where attention to detail is essential, how do we ensure our facilities maintenance is kept up and looking good. As a Construction Project Manager, you will identify and complete assigned projects throughout the property while ensuring all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are followed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure the projects you are accountable for are on schedule and within budget through the lifecycle of the project, adapting to changes and addressing any issues that come up.

Ensure timely, cost-effective, and satisfactory completion of projects, including but not limited to working through permit approvals, managing the budget, managing the schedule, quality control, and keeping complete and orderly documentation of all aspects of the project.

  • Coordinate the efforts of Potawatomi Casino Hotel team members, general contractors, vendors, corporate facility personnel, managers, and architectural and engineering firms to accomplish tasks.
  • Inspect buildings and office areas to evaluate suitability for occupancy, considering Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) requirements, lighting, location, and size. Ensure that minimum space restrictions and code requirements can be met.
  • Identify and compile future property projects and develop necessary budgets.
  • Draw design layouts to include the location of furniture, equipment, doorways, electrical and data outlets, and other facilities.
  • Write and distribute Request for Proposals to solicit bids necessary for project evaluation.
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements.
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

An Associate's degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience in a facility of similar size are required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field can take the place of 2 years of experience.

  • Six months of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • The ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and understand the interests of multiple stakeholders and how those interests relate to Potawatomi Casino Hotel and its goals.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke-free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and extreme noise and temperatures.
