  • Maintain contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct regular field walks and inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Identify risks, resolve project issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Lead assigned team members and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant construction project management experience within institutional, healthcare, educational, infrastructure, and/or public-sector construction. Relevant Assistant Project Manager experience may count.
  • Prior employment with a large, established general contractor or construction management firm.
  • Hands-on project management experience on projects with a total value of $50 million or greater, with direct responsibility for defined scopes, budgets, schedules, or subcontractor packages.
  • Direct experience managing subcontractors and construction execution, with the ability to explain project values and personal responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite daily at the assigned New York City project location.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Public-sector construction experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of NYC construction practices, permitting, and regulatory requirements; comparable major-market experience will be considered.
  • Experience through commissioning and final closeout.
  • Procore experience; Bluebeam familiarity is helpful.
