Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Ocala, FL (Field-Based)
$60,000 – $70,000 annually (Negotiable)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage high-end residential, multi-family, and commercial construction projects in the field. This is a boots-on-the-ground role with a heavy field presence, responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
Direct daily on-site operations, including scheduling, subcontractor oversight, and quality control.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and address challenges.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and clients to maintain design intent and build strong relationships.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, holding them accountable to schedules, standards, and budgets.
Track project schedules, budgets, and reports to monitor performance and mitigate risks.
Review and approve RFIs, submittals, field changes, and change orders.
Lead project meetings, facilitating clear communication among all stakeholders.
Support estimating and pre-construction teams with field-based insights.
5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably across residential, multi-family, and commercial sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in the field.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
