I'm working with a general contractor in the Kansas City metro area that handles a mix of commercial and federal government construction work (USACE, GSA, VA, USDA, Air Force-type clients). They're looking for a Construction PM to own projects start to finish.

What's in it:

• Full ownership of project performance - budget, schedule, scope, safety, quality
• Direct involvement in pre-award: pricing, proposals, subcontractor buyout strategy
• Federal contracting exposure, a differentiator most commercial-only PMs don't get
• Supervision/mentorship of project engineers and assistant PMs
• Company vehicle for job site travel

What they need:

• Bachelor's in engineering, construction management, OR related field + 5 years relevant experience (or equivalent combo)
• OSHA-30 certification required
• Hands-on experience supervising trade construction activities
• Experience building a project schedule start to finish
• Strong grasp of construction project accounting fundamentals
• Federal government project experience (USACE, VA, GSA, USDA, Air Force) preferred
• Must reside in the Kansas Metro Area

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
