The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering construction projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role works closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while driving overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Manage project costs, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and controlling budgets
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project requirements are met
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones
  • Resolve project issues, conflicts, and delays in a timely and effective manner
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing construction projects in a commercial, industrial, or infrastructure environment
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and contract management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

Preferred Skills

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or equivalent is an asset
  • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and scheduling techniques
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in construction
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills


Work Environment
This position involves a combination of office and on-site work. The Project Manager should be comfortable working on construction sites, coordinating field activities, and engaging in hands-on problem solving as required.
