Our client is a leading project and construction management consulting firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial real estate projects in a variety of commercial sectors - corporate, mission critical, and more. They are looking for a New Jersey local Owners Rep or GC Project Manager to build a data center project.

Description
- Serve as the Owner's Representative Project Manager on a hyperscale/mission-critical data center development project.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the general contractor, consultants, design teams, and key project stakeholders.
- Manage and monitor the project's critical drivers:
- Review drawings, schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and project deliverables.
- Support planning, design coordination, and pre-construction efforts prior to field mobilization.
- Ensure constructability, project alignment, and execution meet client expectations and project objectives.
- Identify and proactively address project risks, schedule impacts, and budget concerns.
- Facilitate communication among project teams and drive accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track progress, prepare reporting, and support decision-making for ownership and leadership teams.
Profile
Desired Background
- 8+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects such as:
- Data centers
- Mission-critical facilities
- Manufacturing facilities
- Semiconductor facilities
- Laboratories
- High-rise or multifamily developments
- Large civil/site development projects
- Experience working for a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Owner's Representative firm.
- Strong understanding of site development, civil construction, and overall building systems.
- Ability to work onsite full-time once construction activities begin.
- Self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- College degree preferred but not required; relevant project experience will be heavily considered.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Project (required)
- Procore or similar construction management software
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, schedules, estimates, and project documentation
Job Offer
Compensation
- Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000+ depending on experience.
