Job Description: Project Manager Construction (Siding)
Location: Panama City Beach, FL (East PCB toward Tallahassee preferred)
Territory Covered: Panama City Beach East
Position Type: Full-Time, Field-Based (90% in field/on-site)
Compensation: Base salary + $500/month car allowance + gas card + quarterly performance bonuses + sales commission opportunities
Tools Provided: Company phone and laptop

Job Overview
We are seeking a self-sufficient, highly organized Construction Project Manager to oversee residential siding projects as a subcontractor for major homebuilders. This is a field-heavy role requiring an early start each day to manage crew schedules, coordinate with builders, and ensure materials are on-site and ready.

While construction experience is valuable, we highly prioritize transferable skills. Professionals with backgrounds in teaching, sales, or military service who possess exceptional work ethic, communication, and people skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Field & Project Management
  • On-Site Oversight: Spend 90% of your time traveling between and managing active residential job sites.
  • Crew Scheduling: Organize, schedule, and manage multiple siding crews across scattered-site housing developments.
  • Builder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for large homebuilder superintendents to align on project timelines.
  • Logistics & Ordering: Place material orders, track deliveries, and verify that all inventory is correct and staged before crews arrive.
  • Material Logistics: Occasionally move or transport materials to job sites as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Revenue & Business Growth
  • Field Sales: Identify and execute upsell opportunities or quote additional work when approached by builders or neighbors in the field.
  • Digital Estimating: Utilize mobile web apps to measure properties and generate accurate on-the-spot quotes.

Qualifications & Skills
Core Requirements
  • Location: Must live in PCB area Preferably on the East side of Panama City Beach or along the corridor toward Tallahassee.
  • Schedule: Ability to start early each morning to align with standard construction site hours.
  • Vehicle: A reliable truck is highly ideal; a spacious SUV or car may be considered if capable of moving occasional job materials.
  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable using smartphone/tablet web apps for measuring, quoting, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is a major plus.
  • Experience: Background in construction, field sales, project management, or structured environments like teaching.
Soft Skills Required
  • Problem Solving: Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot field issues independently, and drive results.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to manage both corporate builders and field crews.
  • Organization: Sharp attention to detail to track multiple moving parts, materials, and schedules.
