Our client is a reputable general contractor in Brooklyn, NY who is a leader within new york public projects. The general contractor is hiring due to growth/strong pipeline and the Construction Project Manager - Public Works (DDC) will be a leader within the team from day one. The general contractor needs a strong Construction Project Manager - Public Works (DDC) that has familiarity with the red tape and attention to detail needed for large projects.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee public works construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Review and approve project plans, specifications, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Address and resolve any project-related issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status.
- Maintain effective communication with all project team members and external partners.

- Experience managing public works projects in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
