Job Details

The Project Manager will oversee public works construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement activities, client communication, and overall project execution while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and public agency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout
Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and public agencies
Support field operations alongside Superintendents and project teams
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and public works requirements

Requirements:

5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
Strong public works and public agency project experience
Experience with prevailing wage, public bidding, utility coordination, permits, inspections, and government contracts
Proficiency with Procore and Primavera P6
Knowledge of grading, paving, concrete, site development, scheduling, and cost control
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
