Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring completion within budget and timeline. This role requires an individual who possesses a strong understanding of the construction industry, is detail-oriented, and has excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will:
1. Manage and oversee all facets of the construction project from inception to completion.
2. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring the timely completion of projects.
3. Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
4. Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
5. Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
6. Develop strategic planning initiatives to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
7. Conduct quality control checks to ensure construction meets design specifications.
8. Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
9. Manage site operations, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
10. Coordinate with subcontractors and manage vendor relationships.
11. Maintain clear and effective communication with owners and stakeholders.
12. Use project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to streamline processes and improve project tracking.
13. Solve problems proactively and creatively, ensuring project continuity and success.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in ground-up construction.
2. Proven experience in construction scheduling, contract management, cost control, and quality control.
3. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team management and strategic planning.
4. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
8. Experience in vendor management and subcontractor coordination.
9. OSHA 30 Certificate preferred
10. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
