Self Perform Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction management, and manufacturing departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, estimate, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the construction project, ensuring it aligns with specifications and meets quality standards.
  • Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary construction team, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
  • Manage project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the projects.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing facilities, and commissioning teams to address design modifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Enforce high standards for document configuration control and ensure incorporation of RFIs into final Record drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems.
  • Proficiency in material take-offs and estimating from construction drawings.
  • Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
  • Ability to travel to various project locations as needed, up to 50%, often on short notice.

Expected Compensation: $72,000 - $156,600 annual salary, cash, and stock awards.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
