Construction Project Manager - Sprinturf

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from turnover through closeout.
• Oversee multiple concurrent construction projects with varying schedules, budgets, and complexities.
• Interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, and resource coordination activities.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts, and project profitability.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies before issues escalate.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendor relationships.
• Lead customer communication and provide regular project updates.
• Review and manage change orders, billing activities, and scope modifications.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor to support project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, contract requirements, and safety expectations.
• Prepare project reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve project execution processes.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and provide guidance to developing operations team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong financial, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred

• Civil construction, sports construction, sitework, grading, earthwork, athletic field, or related experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• ASBA industry involvement or certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred for experienced candidates.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
