Construction Project Manager – Structural Design
St. Louis Lambert International Airport, St. Louis, MO – Fully Onsite
$140–180K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits

Chin) is seeking a Construction Project Manager with experience in structural steel design with emphasis on early design, procurement, and management of structural steel packages. Individuals will be engaged with both airline and airport-funded projects. In addition to the planning / design and construction responsibilities an acute awareness of airline functions and operations is required.  Interaction with station managers and user groups will be required. Airline experience is preferred.
 
Qualification Requirements
  • Education – bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or highly-related discipline preferred.
  • Experience – 7+ years, must be relevant experience.
  • Experience with structural steel design and procurement
  • Prior experience with managing structural steel packages
  • Previous experience managing multiple construction projects.
  • Project scope / budget preparation.
  • Some travel will be required.
  • Strong problem solving and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to acquire new responsibilities and skills, and work in a team environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
This role is responsible for understanding the overall project / program scope and managing the assigned project or group of projects.  Efforts will entail the planning, design, implementation, cost control, quality functions, and project closeout. Stakeholder coordination and strong communication are also key roles.

Job Offer:
  • Competitive base salary between $140 – 180K, depending on project assignment, experience, skills, and location.
