Sparks Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction-focused projects from initial planning through final completion. This remote role (MUST live in the Trafford area) requires a proactive professional who can independently manage multiple projects while coordinating estimating, planning, procurement, scheduling, and field execution. The ideal candidate understands the full lifecycle of construction projects and can effectively align internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.  Great opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Construction who is interested in growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct projects through all phases, including planning, budgeting, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Prepare project estimates, material takeoffs, and customer proposals.
  • Review contracts, scopes, and project specifications to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings and ongoing project status discussions with internal teams and customers.
  • Develop project schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking systems.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and material procurement to support project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and technical departments to maintain project flow.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and cost controls.
  • Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, and site leadership to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, construction standards, and company procedures.
  • Provide regular reporting and communication to stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and deliverables.
  • Travel to project sites for inspections, readiness reviews, oversight, and commissioning activities as needed.
Required Skills:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant hands-on experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, project controls, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with contract review, estimating, and scheduling processes.
Professional Experience:
  • At least 2 years of project management experience in construction or related industries.
  •  Background in estimating, quoting, and material planning.
  •  Experience supervising field operations, subcontractors, or construction teams.
  •  Proven ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external partners.
  •  Experience in construction-related risk management preferred.
