What You'll Do
As a Project Manager Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers while learning every aspect of successfully managing residential remodeling projects.
You'll gradually take on more responsibility as your experience and confidence grow.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating residential remodeling projects
- Participate in job site visits and quality inspections
- Learn project scheduling and subcontractor coordination
- Communicate with homeowners, vendors, and trade partners
- Assist with project documentation and progress reporting
- Learn budgeting and cost tracking
- Help ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
- Observe and participate in solving construction challenges as they arise
- Learn company processes, construction sequencing, and customer communication
- Grow into independently managing projects from start to finish
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in attitude, work ethic, and the desire to learn than years of Project Management experience.
Ideal candidates may have:
- An Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field OR
- Experience as a Lead Carpenter, Assistant Superintendent, Construction Coordinator, or similar role looking to grow into management
- Basic knowledge of residential construction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- A positive, professional attitude
- A willingness to learn from experienced mentors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
