Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the quality control and safety programs for all construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Review and approve all submittals and ensure that they comply with contract documents.
- Utilize BlueBeam, LEED, Procore and other project management software to maintain project schedule and monitor progress.
- Evaluate construction means and methods to ensure that they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to resolve any quality-related issues.
- Prepare and present quality control reports and performance metrics to the management team.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team and on the job site.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the construction industry to improve quality control processes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of commercial general contracting experience is required.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, construction inspections, and submittal management.
- Proficiency in BlueBeam, LEED, Procore, and other project management software.
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Certification in LEED, OSHA, or other relevant areas is a plus.
