Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients. This role requires hands-on work in various restoration projects, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to efficiently restore homes and commercial spaces. Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly valued, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation to restore properties to their original condition.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to carry out repairs and restoration tasks.
Conduct carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and other specialized cleaning services as needed.
Assist with demolition, debris removal, and structural repairs during the restoration process.
Apply knowledge of the restoration industry standards to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services.
Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning is preferred.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different restoration projects.
Prior experience with restoration industry standards is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to growth in the field.
