Construction Safety Compliance Auditor — Energy Infrastructure
Term: 12 Months | Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Your impact
Serve as the field compliance resource for pipeline and facility construction projects, delivering technical safety guidance and performing installation inspections.
Inspect construction sites and pipe installations; support pre-construction readiness, damage prevention, and safe work execution with contractor safety leaders.
Audit to the Contractor Safety and Environmental Manual; complete safety assessments, inspections, observations, and quality reviews.
Champion HSE culture and help implement project- and task-specific safety plans.
Collaborate with Company Safety Advisors, Company Inspectors, and the Superintendent of Construction to identify and mitigate project risks.
Plan and document recurring on-site audits; verify adherence to contractor and project-specific safety plans.
Partner with Contractor Safety Leads to identify hazards and instill safe work practices; coach teams to continuously improve.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory obligations; advise inspectors on contractor safety plans.
Communicate safety goals to contractor field staff; confirm safety meetings are adequate and on schedule.
Maintain current safety plans and programs to reflect regulatory or policy updates.
What you’ll bring
OSHA 30 hour
Competent Person (Excavation), accredited
First Aid/CPR
5+ years in Health & Safety OR safety degree plus 3 years relevant H&S experience
Experience with formal risk management processes; energy sector background
HAZWOPER
Pipeline or facilities construction experience
Valid Drivers License

Reports to the Site Supervisor with frequent direction and reviews
Regular consultation to align with company and departmental objectives
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated base range: $25 - $30, dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills
