Safety CoordinatorLocation: Dallas–Fort Worth Area (Headquartered in Dallas)Employment Category: Full Time PositionField Work/Travel: Approximately 75% (including occasional travel throughout the Greater Texas Triangle)Salary: From $65,000+, based on experience, plus a monthly vehicle allowancePosition OverviewThe Safety Coordinator plays a critical field‑focused role ensuring safe operations across multiple active construction projects. This position is responsible for jobsite safety performance, hazard identification, field coaching, and ensuring teams follow all company safety policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly visible in the field, and capable of making independent decisions while holding crews accountable for maintaining a safe work environment.This is not a desk role. Majority of time will be spent on active jobsites conducting inspections, coaching teams, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel to active job sites (approximately 75% travel) across DFW and surrounding regions.Proactively identify hazards and unsafe behaviors and ensure immediate corrective action.Conduct and document detailed safety inspections using Procore.Lead field‑level accident and incident investigations.Document root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Track and manage near‑miss reporting and trend analysis.Support OSHA record‑keeping and compliance requirements.Assist in developing and strengthening company safety policies and procedures.Drive participation in pre‑task safety planning meetings.Coordinate directly with field leadership to resolve safety issues quickly and effectively.Deliver and assist with hands‑on jobsite safety training, including:Operator and equipment safetyTrench and excavation safetyFall protectionGeneral construction safety practicesRepresenting the safety department at company HR and safety‑related events.Promote accountability and continuous improvement of company safety culture.Reporting StructureReports directly to the Safety Manager.QualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving record.1–3 years of construction safety experience (field experience strongly preferred).Ability to work independently, manage your own territory, and prioritize effectively.Safety certifications (CSHO, CHST, or similar) a plus.If not certified, must be willing to complete required safety training within 60 days of employment.Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.Procore experience preferred.Physical & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and navigating active construction sites.Exposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.Comfortable traveling throughout DFW and occasionally within the Greater Texas Triangle.We OfferCompetitive PayPaid TrainingVacation BenefitsExcellent Health, Vision, and Dental BenefitsLife Insurance401K Employer Match#J-18808-Ljbffr
