You will gain hands-on experience in trade safety, regulatory compliance, and high-tech facility construction while serving as a vital support resource for the site management team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Site Walks & Field Support

    • Participate in daily walkabouts and safety tours with the Safety Facilitator, GC reps, and owner management to help identify and record hazards.

    • Assist in monitoring GC and subcontractor compliance with basic safety codes, site rules, and required PPE on site.

    • Help oversee field-level safety initiatives, including the execution of the "Boots on the Ground" safety program.

    • Observe and learn hazard recognition, particularly around heavy equipment, MEP installation, and electrical systems.

    Data Collection & Reporting

    • Help gather, verify, and input daily and weekly EHS metrics, site tour logs, and incident data submitted by contractors.

    • Assist the lead Facilitator in drafting the weekly EHS summary report and preparing materials for monthly GC evaluations.

    • Maintain organized EHS document archives, including site orientation records, hazard assessments, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

    Meetings & Communication

    • Participate in daily safety meetings, contractor toolbox talks, and safety committee gatherings, taking notes and tracking action items.

    • Support emergency preparedness tasks, including keeping site emergency contact lists and evacuation maps current.

    • Promptly report any observed safety non-compliance to the lead Safety Facilitator and site leadership.

    • High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.

    • Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite.

    • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn complex safety processes.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with site crews and management.

    • Ability to work onsite, stand/walk for extended periods, and navigate active construction environments.

    Preferred

    • Prior exposure to ground-up industrial, MEP, or electrical construction environments.
