We are hiring a Senior Construction Safety Manager to lead safety operations across a large, multi-project hyperscale data center construction campus in Cartersville, GA. This role will manage a team of safety professionals, set safety strategy for site civil, utility, and ground-up commercial construction, and serve as the primary safety liaison between the general contractor, project owner, and client. This is a senior leadership position suited for an experienced safety professional ready to shape program-wide EHS practices from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Construction Safety Manager

  • Lead all Construction Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Safety Specialists across multiple active project zones. Set direction for campus-wide EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee safety performance across site development, underground utilities, structural concrete/steel, and MEP installation. Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to owner safety standards.
  • Serve as the primary safety point of contact for the project owner, occupying customer, and executive leadership. Build strong working relationships with field leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Track safety metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support preconstruction planning by identifying safety risks and building project-specific safety strategies. Run executive safety meetings, audits, and inspections.

Qualifications – Senior Construction Safety Manager

  • 10+ years of General Contractor construction safety experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects. Hyperscale data center experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading and developing safety teams across multi-phase construction projects. Strong background in site civil, utility infrastructure, and ground-up commercial construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety best practices, and risk management. Experience conducting incident investigations and corrective action programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple active projects at once.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred.

Preferred Qualifications – Sr. Safety Manager, Construction

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification.
  • CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
