Construction Sales & Estimating Representative
Location: This is an office and field-based position based in Monroe, LA, requiring regular travel to customer and project locations throughout Northeast Louisiana.

Brown's Construction Services provides residential and commercial remodeling, painting, drywall, flooring, carpentry, and interior-finish services throughout Monroe and Northeast Louisiana. Our goal is to deliver an organized, transparent construction experience while building lifelong client relationships and creating generational change in the communities we serve.
We are seeking a Construction Sales & Estimating Representative to generate new business, build strong client relationships, and close profitable residential and commercial painting, remodeling, and interior-finish projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this person will serve as the face of Brown's Construction Services throughout the sales process. The Sales Representative will identify client needs, develop accurate scopes and proposals, establish realistic expectations, and create an organized handoff to the Project Management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new residential and commercial business and work toward a monthly target of $333,000 in signed contracts.
- Meet prospective clients onsite to discuss their needs, budgets, timelines, and project goals.
- Inspect, measure, and accurately scope painting, drywall, flooring, remodeling, and interior-finish projects.
- Develop detailed estimates and proposals using company pricing tools and technology.
- Review estimates before submission to confirm accurate labor, material, subcontractor, and project costs.
- Help ensure sold projects achieve the company's 35% gross-profit target.
- Present proposals clearly, answer questions, address objections, and guide qualified prospects toward a decision.
- Follow up with inbound leads within 24 hours.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with every qualified opportunity.
- Keep lead, proposal, follow-up, and sales information accurate and current in the company CRM.
- Maintain a lead conversion rate of approximately 70%.
- Review won and lost opportunities to improve sales messaging, proposals, and closing performance.
- Keep pricing tools current with applicable labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare detailed scopes and signed agreements that reduce misunderstandings and prevent scope creep.
- Coordinate with estimating, production, and project management to ensure an organized project handoff.
- Attend required sales and company meetings and respond to the COO within four business hours.
Qualifications
- At least two to three years of residential or commercial construction, remodeling, estimating, or construction-sales experience.
- Knowledge of painting, drywall, flooring, trim, carpentry, and general interior construction.
- Ability to identify project requirements and accurately estimate labor, materials, and quantities.
- Experience using a tape measure, laser-measuring equipment, CRM system, and digital estimating tools.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build client relationships, follow up consistently, and close profitable work.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Organized, self-directed, responsive, and comfortable working toward measurable sales goals.
- Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, and reliable transportation throughout the service area.
- Smartphone with internet access and the ability to use required mobile applications.

Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 employment.
- Pay:$48,000 to $54,000 annual salary, based on experience, with a bonus opportunity of approx. $10-25k annually

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend appointments based on customer scheduling
