Construction Sales Specialist

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will identify, develop, and secure construction project opportunities that drive profitable growth within across ~15 states in the Midwest
  • Sell and manage industrial gas, hardgoods and vending solutions to construction sector
  • Collaborate with regional and localized operations team to ensure reliable service models are offered, specific to capabilities in each geography
  • You will build relationships with owners, contractors, engineers, architects, project managers, and other key decision-makers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support and pursue shared growth objectives with Territory Managers, National Account Managers, and other sales team members
  • Promote Linde products, technologies, and service offerings to existing and prospective customers while delivering exceptional account service
  • You will improve account profitability by understanding customer operations, value drivers, and cost-to-serve considerations
  • Develop customer growth strategies, pricing recommendations, and project-specific sales plans that support long-term business objectives
  • Prepare project estimates and proposals by evaluating specifications, drawings, labor requirements, material requirements, and project schedules
  • Serve as a primary point of contact during pre-construction activities, project planning, and project execution phases
  • You will maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, strategic partners, and internal business teams to support successful project delivery
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer developments while identifying opportunities to expand Linde market presence
  • Maintain accurate project, pipeline, and customer information and support ongoing business-development initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

What makes you great

  • 7+ years of outside sales experience in industrial, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related B2B environments
  • Bachelor's Degree is applicable field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction sales, project management, project development, estimating, or related disciplines
  • Strong commercial negotiation, account management, and business-development skills with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth
  • Experience developing and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of industrial gas applications, process utility systems, or technically complex industrial facilities
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%-75% based on project and business needs

Pay range: $108,255 - $144.300 annually
