Construction Services Manager

Tampa based industry leading engineering group is actively seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Construction Services Manager to support our thriving Construction Materials Testing and Inspection sector. This position is based out of our Tampa office location. Existing project sites are located in west central Florida, and each one considered once in a career opportunities. Successful candidates should be able to plan, coordinate and direct construction services to ensure scheduling, budget and quality service requirements are met.

Based on the level of experience, the position offers up to an annual salary of $200,000 plus benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise and aid in the professional development of a team of project managers, laboratory personnel and certified inspectors and technicians;
• Interface with clients, site representatives and regulatory agencies;
• Maintain existing client relationships and develop new business relationships;
• Estimating / proposal writing, scheduling technicians and engineering personnel, reviewing field and laboratory reports and overall project management;
• Assure that employees follow safe work practices and use company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner;
• Recruit, train and develop construction services staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE);
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE);
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
• 4+ years of construction materials testing and inspection experience;
• Previous management experience preferred.
