Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY/NJ (various large-scale job sites)
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site (In-Person Required)
Salary: $125K+ DOE
Company Overview:
We are a large-scale real estate development firm building high-end residential projects of approximately 200+ units per development. We manage complex ground-up construction projects and require strong on-site leadership to ensure execution quality, schedule adherence, and coordination across all trades.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day construction operations on active job sites. This role is fully site-based and responsible for managing all field activity once the project transitions from pre-construction and project management to execution.
The ideal candidate comes from an Owners Representative background (preferred) with strong exposure to large-scale residential developments, subcontractor coordination, and field operations oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction activities and field coordination
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and daily site operations
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specs, and schedule
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, and engineers
- Enforce site safety, quality control, and compliance standards
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain daily reporting and progress tracking
- Ensure smooth execution of 200+ unit ground-up residential projects
Requirements:
- Strong, proven Site Management experience on large-scale construction projects (must)
- Preferred background as Owners Rep or developer-side field management
- Experience with multi-unit residential (200300+ units preferred)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong ability to manage subcontractors and field teams
- High level of accountability, organization, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-moving construction environments
