We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a safe work environment. This position plays a critical role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards.
Manage all daily construction site operations.
Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Enforce all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Coordinate inspections with owners, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently.
Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
Manage material deliveries and equipment usage.
Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding schedule, budget, and project status.
Promote a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Salary
$65,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

This position requires working outdoors on active commercial construction sites in varying weather conditions. The role involves walking, climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project schedules. Some projects will be driving 2 hours or so out of Louisville.
