We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee historic restoration projects in the Springfield, MA area. This is a unique opportunity to work on meaningful, detail-driven projects that preserve and restore historic structures.
The ideal candidate will have strong field leadership experience, a deep understanding of construction practices, and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily on-site operations for historic restoration projects

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and project schedules

Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards

Read and interpret plans, specifications, and historic preservation requirements

Maintain job site safety and enforce OSHA compliance

Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors

Track progress, manage site logistics, and resolve field issues
Requirements:

Massachusetts CSL (Construction Supervisor License) – Required

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman
-
Experience with historic restoration, renovation, or preservation projects strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods

Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain schedules

Excellent leadership and communication skills
