Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with project manager on scheduling various subcontractors and maintain project schedule, daily reporting, on-site safety requirements and management of all subcontractors.
Accountable for jobsite safety, holding subcontractors accountable for their work, regular communication with on-site customer representatives, and quality control.
Preferred candidate will have general knowledge on general construction applications and mechanical and electrical systems while managing subcontractors, dealing with conflict and have excellent communication skills.
Meets with subcontractors and owners to discuss scope of project; budgets; performance; and close-out. Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes
Must Have
High School Diploma
5 years + of experience of construction industry experience
Prior Site Superintendent experience
Must have a general working knowledge of basic construction, electricity, mechanical, and HVAC systems, and safety of building construction industry.
The client is open to considering candidates from Denver or Fort Collins.
This position will manage commercial/industrial projects in and around Denver and Fort Collins.
The initial role is 12 months, but conversion is the goal. The position may require up to 8 hours of overtime per week.
Energy Services Construction Site Superintendent:
Supervises all aspects of turnkey jobsite activities, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project supervision while leading a team of subcontractors, maintaining and enforcing safety, and adhering to a specific objectives in a time frame and with available resources.
Able to manage multiple vendors and multiple subcontractors; works with a Project Manager.
