About the Role:
Join SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties as a Construction Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in restoring properties to their former glory. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping others.



Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate property damage to determine the scope of construction work needed.
• Educate customer on the construction process
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide project updates.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently for construction tasks.
• Document project progress and report any issues to management.
• Assist in training new team members on construction best practices.
• Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
• Create an accurate sketch of project
• Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
• Deliver and communicate estimate to Construction Manager
• Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e. Structural Engineers,ITEL,Electrical Inspectors,etc)
• Work with Construction Manager to price bid items.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant construction certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or restoration work.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
