Your Responsibilities as a Construction Superintendent
- Lead and supervise field crews daily.
- Keep projects on schedule and production goals on track.
- Enforce safety standards with zero shortcuts.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Solve jobsite issues before they become costly problems.
Qualifications
- 10 years in a construction supervisory role, preferably in sheet metal or HVAC.
- Proven crew and schedule management on commercial job sites.
- Able to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specs.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety rules and compliance.
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Comfortable using digital reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Airtable).
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lead 30-50-man crews.
