Responsibilities
As a Construction Superintendent, you will:
Oversee and manage commercial interior construction projects from inception through completion.
Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on all job sites.
Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals.
Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving by anticipating and addressing project challenges.
Uphold project schedules and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities to maintain workflow, quality, and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically within commercial interior construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and safety regulations.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage field teams and stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with New York City building codes and construction regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and construction drawings.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in commercial interior construction.
62-Hour SST Supervisor Card (Required)
Proven experience managing private-sector commercial renovation projects in New York City.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
